Ingredients

1 pack of wonton wrappers (approximately 20-30 wrappers)

1 can (5 oz) tuna in water, drained and flaked

1 ripe avocado, diced into small cubes

2 tablespoons mayonnaise (preferably light or homemade)

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

1 teaspoon soy sauce (low sodium, if preferred)

1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, finely chopped

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

Cooking spray or oil for greasing

Optional toppings: Sriracha for heat, sesame seeds for crunch, or thinly sliced green onions for freshness

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking the wonton cups.

    Prepare Wonton Cups:

      - Lightly grease a standard muffin tin with cooking spray or brush with a light coat of oil to prevent sticking.

        - Carefully place each wonton wrapper into the muffin cups, pressing down gently to form a cup shape. For extra sturdiness, you can use a second wonton wrapper layered on top of the first.

          Bake Wonton Cups:

            - Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake the wonton wrappers for about 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crisp. Watch closely to ensure they do not burn.

              - Once baked, remove the tin from the oven and allow the wonton cups to cool in the tin for a few minutes. Afterward, transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

                Prepare the Tuna Filling:

                  - In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flaked tuna, diced avocado, mayonnaise, lime juice, soy sauce, chopped cilantro, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

                    - Gently stir the mixture with a fork until all ingredients are well incorporated, being careful to keep the avocado cubes intact for texture.

                      Assemble Cups:

                        - Once the wonton cups have cooled down, carefully spoon the tuna avocado mixture into each cup, filling them generously for a satisfying bite.

                          Garnish:

                            - For an added flavor boost, drizzle a bit of Sriracha over each filled cup for a spicy kick. Alternatively, sprinkle with sesame seeds or garnish with diced green onions for an extra layer of flavor and a crunchy texture.

                              Serve:

                                - Serve these delightful mini cups immediately as an appetizer or snack, celebrating the beautiful combination of crispy, savory, and creamy textures. Enjoy!
