8 oz spaghetti

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 large eggs

1 cup ricotta cheese

1/2 cup finely chopped fresh basil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

Olive oil (for greasing the muffin tin)

Optional: Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions
 

Cook the Spaghetti: Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Once cooked, drain the spaghetti and set it aside to cool slightly.

    Prepare the Mixture: In a spacious mixing bowl, combine the slightly cooled spaghetti with shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, eggs, ricotta cheese, chopped basil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Using a spatula or wooden spoon, stir the mixture well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

      Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to preheat at 375°F (190°C) so it's ready when you're done preparing the nests.

        Grease the Muffin Tin: Take a standard muffin tin and lightly coat each cup with olive oil. This will help ensure that the nests release easily after baking.

          Form the Nests: Scoop a generous spoonful of the spaghetti mixture and press it into one of the greased muffin cups, shaping it into a nest. Make sure to create a small cavity in the center to enhance the nest shape and hold your ingredients together.

            Bake the Nests: Carefully place the muffin tin in the preheated oven. Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes, or until the nests are golden brown and the cheese has melted beautifully.

              Cool and Serve: Once baked to perfection, remove the muffin tin from the oven and allow the nests to cool in the tin for about 5 minutes. Gently lift each nest out and transfer them to a serving platter.

                Optional Marinara: For an extra touch of flavor, serve the nests with warm marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
