1 pound breakfast sausage

6 large eggs

2 cups frozen hash browns, thawed

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

12 slider buns (small Hawaiian rolls work great)

2 tablespoons butter, melted

Optional: sliced jalapeños or hot sauce for an extra kick

Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to preheat at 375°F (190°C) to ensure it’s ready for baking.

    Cook the Sausage: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Crumble the breakfast sausage into the pan and cook until it’s browned and fully cooked, approximately 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat and remove from heat. Set aside.

      Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a mixing bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them together with the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

        Cook the Egg Mixture: Using the same skillet that contained the sausage (for added flavor), pour in the egg mixture. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring gently with a spatula until the eggs are just set but remain soft, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

          Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the cooked sausage, scrambled eggs, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix gently until everything is evenly distributed.

            Prepare Hash Browns: In a separate bowl, season the thawed hash browns with a pinch of salt and pepper. If you desire extra crispiness, you may mix in a tablespoon of melted butter.
