Ingredients

8 oz (1 package) cream cheese, softened to room temperature

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup diced cooked turkey (use leftover turkey or rotisserie turkey as preferred)

1/2 cup diced green chilies (canned, drained, and rinsed)

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

1 teaspoon fresh lime juice

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

4 large flour tortillas (10-inch diameter)

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: extra sliced green chilies for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese and break it up with a fork. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, diced turkey, diced green chilies, chopped cilantro, lime juice, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix everything together until the mixture is uniform and creamy.

Spread the Mixture: Take one tortilla and lay it flat on a clean work surface. Using a spatula or the back of a spoon, spread an even layer of the turkey mixture over the tortilla, making sure to cover it completely but leaving a small border around the edges to prevent spillage when rolling.

Roll It Up: Starting from one edge of the tortilla, tightly roll the tortilla away from you, ensuring the filling remains inside. Aim to create a tight roll for best results, but avoid making it so tight that the filling oozes out.

Slice the Pinwheels: Repeat the spreading and rolling method with the remaining tortillas. Once all tortillas are rolled, take a sharp knife and slice each roll into pinwheel pieces that are about 1-inch thick.

Serve: Arrange the pinwheels neatly on a serving platter for a beautiful presentation. Optionally, garnish with extra sliced green chilies or a sprinkle of fresh cilantro for added color and flavor. You can serve them immediately or refrigerate for up to an hour to chill.

Enjoy: These zesty pinwheels make a delightful addition to any gathering, perfect for parties, game day, or a quick and satisfying snack!
