Ingredients

1 cup cooked chicken, shredded (preferably rotisserie)

1 cup chili (your choice, canned or homemade)

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup cream cheese, softened to room temperature

1 tablespoon taco seasoning

1 package (10 oz) refrigerated pizza dough

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon paprika

Fresh cilantro, finely chopped, for garnish (optional)

Your choice of dipping sauce (ranch, salsa, etc.)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to prevent sticking.

Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the shredded chicken, chili, shredded mozzarella cheese, softened cream cheese, taco seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Stir until the mixture is uniform and well-blended.

Roll Out the Dough: Take the refrigerated pizza dough and carefully unroll it onto a lightly floured surface. Use a rolling pin to flatten the dough to about ¼ inch in thickness. Cut the dough into rectangles measuring approximately 4 x 6 inches.

Fill the Rolls: Spoon a generous amount of the chicken and chili mixture into the center of each dough rectangle. Ensure that you do not overfill, as this may cause the filling to spill out during baking.

Roll and Seal: Gently fold the dough over the filling to create a roll. Pinch the edges firmly to seal, and for added security, you can crimp the edges with a fork.

Brush with Olive Oil: Arrange the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, then brush the tops lightly with olive oil. This will help them develop a beautiful golden color while baking.

Bake the Rolls: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are puffed up and richly golden brown.

Serve and Garnish: After baking, remove the rolls from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes. If desired, garnish with freshly chopped cilantro for a burst of color and flavor. Serve warm alongside your preferred dipping sauce.
